Average
Penis Size
Surveys and Statistics
All men
want to know what the average
penis size is, although it is rather irrelevant
since women don't judge men by comparing their penis to the average size. To them it doesn't matter what the average
is. Women care about what feels good and looks good, not about
numbers. (see page 40, the The Ideal Penis Size)
Even though, most men still want to
find out the average or medium penis size, because it allows them to place themselves in comparison with the rest of the population. To many men
passing the average mark means having a normal penis.
...so,
here it is:
The Average Penis Size
There are
four studies that are well respected in the penis
size world. These are their results.
-
The first one is the famous Kinsey Sex Institute study. In the 1960s they asked over 3500 college males to measure themselves.
Then there is the now famous Richard Edwards'
Definitive
Penis Size Survey Results
with over 3000 participants.

Another survey is the one done by
Durex (just under 3000 participants):
A more recent study was
performed by Lifestyles Condom Co. in Cancun Mexico in March 2001
(see ABCNEWS.com).
They measured 300 college-aged students:
*
The exact figures of the Lifestyles study are 5.877 inch for length and
4.972 inch for girth. However, it is silly to put much attention on such
decimals from a study that measures 300 men, with a world population of
about 1.5 billion adult men.

So
there you have it, the average erect penis size is a good 6 inches long
and a good 5 inches in girth. Trying to be more specific than that is
useless, unless you are willing to measure a statistically representative part
of the whole male world population.
